If you are looking for a good cause to support then please consider helping us renovate and open our second Rescue & Re-homing Centre in New Romney KENT or carry out improvement work at our Edenbridge Centre.

We have outlined below some of the projects we are hoping to commence in the future.

Any help you feel able to give to accelerate any of these objectives would be most welcome and would enrich the lives of the many abused and homeless animals that come through our doors.

Block of kennels at Edenbridge: to upgrade existing external kennels into interior kennels with larger exterior runs. Specification of kennels to include; under-floor heating, hygienic tiled surfaces, UPVC doors with self closing dog flaps-(to retain heat) 6 kennels Ł4,000each (now achieved- thank you)

To provide an additional exercise/activity area at Edenbridge: This will also provide a safe area for prospective owners to become acquainted with their new best friend. Ł7,500

To convert redundant Vet Unit, Edenbridge: We hope to convert the old area into a Special Care Unit for ill and particularly vulnerable cats/kittens Ł3,500

Equipment for New Vet Unit Edenbridge: Diagnostic Blood Machine/ Analyser Ł6,000 (now acquired-thank you)

X-Ray Machine & Developer: X-Ray- Ł6,000 Developer-Ł20,000 (now acquired-thank you Last Chance Charity Shop Cliftonville)

Mark Tech Operating Light Ł1,145

Ultrasound Vet Direct Magic 2000: with two probes Ł5,990

Consulting Table: (now acquired- thanks to Paws & Claws)

Scrub Sink: (now acquired- thanks to Paws & Claws)

New Romney Centre: Refurbish & upgrade existing kennel block to provide under-floor heating, lighting, hygienic surfaces & exterior runs

20 Double Kennels 2 Single kennels Ł3,000per kennel

11.New Romney Centre: Demolish & replace existing derelict Cattery

Total Cost Ł40,000 for twenty units to house up to forty cats

Ł2,000per unit

Apart from the items listed above there are many other ways you can 'make a difference' you may be able to offer your time as a helping hand with the building works, your skills as a professional, be able to donate building materials, use your talent as a coffee morning/bridge evening/line dancing organiser etc. to raise funds, sign up the support of your club / school / organisation / company or simply make a financial contribution, no matter how small. Any offers will be most welcome. We are currently engaged in talks with the local authorities, but hope to hold a meeting in the near future when we can discuss our plans for the future.

Last Chances!

We are extremely proud to announce that Last Chance has recently acquired a new site on which to develop a second rescue and re-homing centre, This acquisition has been the result of many years hard work and intense fund raising and we are therefore delighted at the prospect of, in time, being able to help even more homeless and abused animals.

We are now able to accept online donations via (A SAFE AND SECURE) service provided by the Charities Aid Foundation.

Last chance can now provide the facility to gratefully receive donations made directly online. This service is provided by CAF and allows any of our supporters to donate directly online. We have placed a donate now bubble button on the Homepage of the website. This will lead you directly to Last Chance's OWN donation area.
